End of Season Regatta

Fellow Sailors:

This Saturday and Sunday, May 7 and 8, 2016 the Venice Sailing Squadron is conducting its Annual  End of Season Regatta.

If you own a boat, please plan on participating in the regatta and taking a fellow Squadron member or two with you.  If you need experienced crew please let us know in advance and we will help you find them.

Remember, that if we  have sufficient participation we now break the fleet into two classes, a Class A fleet for the racing fanatics and a Class B non-spinnaker fleet for normal people.

If you do not own a boat we invite you to come to Higel Park on Saturday and/or Sunday and we will endeavor to get you on one of the boats participating in the races.

The Venice Sun Fiesta, our major exposure to the Venice Community, will be held from October 16 - 18. In the past this has been a valuable source of new members.   We still need more volunteers to help staff our booth. Look at your schedules.  Please give us some time on one the days of Sun Fiesta.  What we need is two hours of your time to help us promote the club.   I will have sign-up sheets available at the October 14th meeting or you can e-mail be at kfnolan@aol.com.
