VSS crews returning to Venice with a north wind behind them. Congradulations to Lou Salhany and the crew of Opalina for participating in this year’s SYS Invitational regatta in Sarasota Bay. Winds were steady from the north around 12-18 kts. all day. John Lynch and his crew on Spray sailed the course but found themselves on a sandbar off Bird Key at their start time, and took a DNS for the race. A beautiful day to sail in Florida.
