As part of our mission to promote sailing in the community, we offer a varied program of local cruising, social events, training and racing in and around the Gulf of Mexico. The VSS is a registered US Sailing sailing club. As such we maintain a standard of conduct and quality on the water and practice and encourage stewardship to our environment.

become a member

VSS membership is open to all sailors and  those interested in becoming sailors. Additionally, boat ownership  is not a prerequisite for membership into the Venice Sailing Squadron (VSS). There  are plenty of opportunities to join a sailing crew and get out on the water even if you don't have your own boat.
